About the Club

Euxton Corinthians Football Club was formed by Danial Hogg in the summer of 2008 with the intention of giving local lads the opportunity of playing football in a grassroots environment. The club is based in Euxton in the North West of Lancashire and currently participates in the Lancashire Evening Post Sunday Football League where they have achieved back to back promotions.

The clubs home shirt colours are red and black stripes, with their away colours being blue and black stripes. Since forming in 2008 the club has gone from strength to strength, securing back to back promotions in their first two seasons and signing on a squad of forty members in the process. This once small sided Sunday league side has now developed into a squad of players capable of progressing further in the Lancashire Evening Post Sunday Football League whilst continuing to improve the reputation of the standard of football they play.

The club is dependent on fund raising, player membership fees’ and sponsorship in order to support them as they receive no money from the LFA or other third parties and they rely on the background voluntary helpers to keep a close eye on the smooth running of the club. The club website now averages over one hundred views per month and Euxton Corinthians are always open to new companies or business wishing to advertise on the site. Euxton currently play their home games at Higher Walton Recreational Ground but do have long term plans of finding a private home pitch of their own.

The badge pictured above consists of an Eagle and hails the Latin "Ad Captandum Vulgus" which literally translates to the Euxton Corinthians motto "to win over the crowd"!
